Keandalan sejarah Kitab-kitab Injil mengacu pada keandalan dan karakter sejarah dari empat Perjanjian Baru injil sebagai dokumen sejarah. Sejumlah orang percaya bahwa keempat injil kanonik memenuhi lima kriteria untuk keandalan historis; beberapa mengatakan bahwa sedikit dalam Injil dapat diandalkan sebagai sejarah. Kritik tekstual berkaitan dengan identifikasi dan penghapusan kesalahan transkripsi  dalam teks-teks dari naskah-naskah kuno. Para ahli taurat kuno membuat kesalahan atau perubahan (seperti termasuk penambahan non-otentik). Dalam upaya untuk menentukan teks asli dari kitab Perjanjian Baru, beberapa kritik teks modern telah mengidentifikasi beberapa bagian sebagai penambahan bahan, berabad-abad setelah injil ditulis.
