Ed Parish Sanders (kelahiran 18 April 1937) adalah seorang sarjana Perjanjian Baru dan salah satu proponen utama dari "Perspektif Baru tentang Paulus". Sanders merupakan Fellow of the British Academy. Pada 1966, ia meraih gelar Th.D. dari Union Seminary di NYC. Pada 1990, ia meraih gelar D. Sanders lahir dan dibesarkan di Grand Prairie, Texas. Ia masuk Wesleyan College, Fort Worth (1955-1959) dan Perkins School of Theology di Southern Methodist University, Dallas (1959-1962). Ia menjalani setahun (1962-1963) belajar di Göttingen, University of Oxford dan di Yerusalem.

Antara September 1963 dan Mei 1966, Sanders belajar di Union Theological Seminary, New York untuk gelar Th.D-nya.
