The Ego and Its Own

The Ego and Its Own (Jerman: Der Einzige und sein Eigentum) adalah sebuah karya tahun 1844 buatan filsuf Jerman Max Stirner. Karya tersebut menghadirkan kritikan pasca-Hegelian terhadap agama Kristen dan moralitas tradisional di satu sisi; dan di sisi lain, humanisme, utilitarianisme, liberalisme, dan kebanyakan gerakan sosialis saat itu, dijunjung alih-alih egoisme amoral (meskipun pengaruhnya tak mewarisi ammoral atau antisosial). Karya tersebut dianggap sebagai pengaruh ebsar terhadap perkembangan anarkisme, eksistensialisme, nihilisme atau pasca-modernisme.
