Bisakodil adalah senyawa organik yang digunakan untuk obat pencahar stimulan. Obat bisakodil bekerja langsung pada usus besar untuk menghasilkan gerakan usus. Pemberian obat bisakodil biasanya diresepkan untuk menghilangkan konstipasi episodik dan kronis dan untuk pengelolaan disfungsi usus neurogenik, serta bagian dari persiapan usus sebelum pemeriksaan medis, seperti untuk kolonoskopi.
