Dafnah atau salam sebrang adalah sebuah pohon hijau abadi aromatik atau perdu besar berdaun hijau yang berasal dari kawasan Mediterania. Tumbuhan tersebut merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang digunakan untuk perasa daun salam dalam memasak. Laurus nobilis berpengaruh dalam sejarah Alkitab, Romawi, dan Yunani klasik.
