kejuaraan negara bagian di musim 1925 dan menjadikan tim menjadi salah satu tim yang paling disegani di negara bagian Parana Pada kejuaraan Parana musim 1949 mereka berhasil keluar menjadi juara dan total berhasil mengoleksi 9 gelar dan pada saat itu pula mereka mendapat julukan Furacao Indonesia Badai Atletico Paranaense adalah klub pertama asal negara bagian Parana yang berpartisipasi di Torneio Roberto Gomes Pedrosa yang sekarang dikenal sebagai Serie A Brazil Di kejuaraan Serie A Brazil musim 2001 Atletico Paranaense keluar sebagai juara setelah mengalahkan Sao Caetano di babak final dan di musim 2004 menjadi Runner up Atletico Paranaense telah tiga kali berkompetisi di Copa Libertadores yaitu di musim 2000 2002 dan 2005 Di musim 2000 klub tersingkir di babak kedua Sedangkan
