Pada tanggal 18 November 2021, diungkapkan bahwa Lee Min-ho dan Gong Hyo-jin sedang dalam pembicaraan untuk mengambil peran utama dari seri drama baru yang ditulis oleh penulis Seo Sook-hyang. Pada 26 Januari 2022, terungkap bahwa Oh Jung-se ditawari peran dan proposal tersebut sedang ditinjau. On March 28, 2022, Lee and Gong were confirmed as the leads.
