Betsimisaraka adalah kelompok etnis terbesar kedua di Madagaskar setelah Merina dan meliputi sekitar lima belas persen orang Malagasi. Mereka menduduki sebagian besar kawasan pesisir timur Madagaskar, dari Mananjary di selatan sampai Antalaha di utara.
