Pemilihan Paus dari 4 April 1287 sampai 22 Februari 1288 merupakan pemilihan Paus paling mematikan dalam sejarah Gereja Katolik Roma, enam (atau lima) dari enam belas (atau lima belas) kardinal pemilih wafat saat musyawarah. Pada akhirnya, para kardinal memilih Girolamo Masci, O.Min. sebagai Paus Nikolas IV, sekitar setahun setelah kematian Paus Honorius IV, yang wafat pada 3 April 1287. Nikolas IV merupakan paus Fransiskan pertama.
