Osuarium Yakobus

Osuarium Yakobus adalah sebuah kotak batu gamping abad ke-1 yang dipakai untuk menyimpan tulang-tulang jenazah. Sebuah inskripsi berbahasa Aram dalam abjad Ibrani yang memiliki arti "Yakobus, putra Yosef, saudara Yesus" diukir di satu sisi dari kotak tersebut. Inskripsi tersebut dianggap signifikan karena, jika benar, ini dapat menyediakan bukti arkeologi untuk Yesus dari Nazareth. Namun, meskipun osuarium itu sendiri dianggap otentik untuk periode waktu tersebut, inskripsi itu sendiri bisa saja merupakan pemalsuan modern.

Osuarium Yakobus yang disimpan di Royal Ontario Museum dari 15 November 2002 sampai 5 Januari 2003.
