Kafestol (bahasa Inggris: cafestol, cafesterol, coffeol, C₂₀H₂₈O₃), bersama-sama dengan kahweol merupakan senyawa diterpena alami yang hanya ditemukan pada kopi, dan memiliki efek anti-karsinogenik. Efek tersebut diperkirakan oleh para ahli sebagai akibat lebih lanjut induksi kafestol terhadap glutation S-transferase (GST). Studi terhadap kafestol dan kahweol menunjukkan bahwa kedua senyawa ini menyebabkan peningkatan kolesterol total, termasuk LDL, trigliserida, alanina aminotransferase. Walaupun demikian, peningkatan aktivitas metabolisme enzimatik ALT tidak dijumpai pada konsumen kronis kopi.
