Josias Simmler (Josiah Simler; bahasa Latin: Iosias Simlerus; 6 November 1530 – 2 Juli 1576) adalah seorang teolog dan klasikis asal Swiss. Ia adalah pengarang buku pertama tentang Pegunungan Alpen.

Pada 1552 ia menjadi profesor dalam bidang penafisarn Perjanjian Baru pada Akademi Carolinum di Zurich, di mana ia juga mengajar matematika dan astronomi Ptolemeus, dan pada 1560 menjadi profesor dalam bidang teologi. Pada 1555 ia menerbitkan edisi baru Episode Conrad Gessner tentang Bibliotheca universalis, edisi baru dari Bibliotheca sendiri, dan pada 1575 ia menerbitkan edisi anotasi dari Antonine Itinerary.
