John Twist (14 Juli 1898 – 11 Februari 1976) adalah seorang penulis naskah Amerika Serikat yang berkarir sepanjang empat dasawarsa. Lahir dengan nama John Stuart Twist di Albany, Missouri, ia memulai karirnya pada era film bisu, menyediakan cerita untuk film-film seperti Breed of Courage, Blockade, dan The Big Diamond Robbery.
