Jeffrey David Sachs (/ˈsæks/; lahir 5 November 1954) adalah ekonom Amerika Serikat dan direktur The Earth Institute di Universitas Columbia. Ia dikenal sebagai salah satu pakar pembangunan ekonomi dunia dan pemberantasan kemiskinan.

Sachs merupakan Dosen Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Quetelet di Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs dan dosen kebijakan dan manajemen kesehatan di Columbia's School of Public Health. Ia menjabat sebagai penasihat khusus Sekretaris Jenderal Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa Ban Ki-Moon untuk bidang Millennium Development Goals. Ia sebelumnya memegang jabatan yang sama di bawah kepemimpinan Kofi Annan. Ia adalah pendiri dan kepala strategiwan Millennium Promise Alliance, organisasi nirlaba yang bertujuan mengakhiri kemiskinan ekstrem dan kelaparan. Pada tahun 2002 sampai 2006, ia menjabat sebagai direktur Millennium Development Goals dalam United Nations Millennium Project.
