Thommas Pennant (14 Juni 1726 – 16 December 1798) adalah naturalis, penjelajah, penulis, dan pengoleksi peninggalan kuno dari Wales, Britania. Buku-bukunya yang populer termasuk British Zoology, History of Quadrupeds, Arctic Zoology, dan Indian Zoology, walaupun ia sebenarnya tidak pernah keluar dari Eropa. Dalam penjelajahannya ia dibantu pelayannya, Moses Griffith, yang menggambar hal-hal yang mereka temukan untuk kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam buku-buku karya Pennant.
