There's Got to Be a Way

"There's Got to Be a Way" adalah lagu musisi asal Amerika Serikat, Mariah Carey dari album studio debutnya, Mariah Carey (1990). Columbia merilis lagu tersebut sebagai singel kelima dan terakhir dari albumnya di Britania Raya. Lagu tersebut merupakan salah satu dari empat lagu yang diciptakan oleh Mariah Carey dengan Ric Wake selama sesi rekaman pertama mereka bersama pada bulan Februari 1990. Lagu tersebut adalah lagu R&B-pop yang membahas keberadaan kemiskinan, rasisme, dan perang di dunia yang secara bertahap menjadi lebih aspirasional dan positif seiring perkembangannya. "There's Got to Be a Way" mendapat sambutan yang beragam pada rilis album pada tahun 1990. Sementara itu, vokal dari Carey dipuji oleh beberapa kritikus. Video musiknya menyoroti ketidakadilan sosial yang ada di masyarakat. Pada Mei 2020, Carey menampilkan potongan lagu dalam video yang diposting online sebagai respon atas pembunuhan George Floyd. Pada 24 Juli 2020, Carey merilis ulang "There's Got To Be a Way" dalam format digital EP 5 trek sebagai bagian dari proyek #MC30, yaitu perayaan 30 tahun debutnya sekaligus 30 tahun dirilis nya album Mariah Carey. Pada 29 Juli 2020 "There's Got To Be a Way" menjadi video kedua Carey yang direstorasi dalam format video definisi tinggi 1080p.
