Publius Papinius Statius (ca. 45, Naples – ca. 96 M, Naples) adalah seorang penyair Romawi pada abad pertama M (Zaman Perang Sastra Latin). Karyanya yang terkenal antara lain wiracarita Thebaid, kumpulan sajak Silvae, dan epik yang tak terselesaikan berjudul Achilleid. Selain itu, dia juga terkenal sebagai salah satu tokoh utama dalam bagian Purgatorio dari wiracarita Divina Commedia karya Dante Alighieri.
