Simon Montagu McBurney, OBE (lahir 25 Agustus 1957) merupakan seorang aktor, sutradara dan penulis Britania Raya. Ia merupakan pengarah artistik dan ketua Théâtre de Complicité, London. Ia dikenal sebagai aktor dalam film The Manchurian Candidate, Friends with Money, The Golden Compass, The Duchess, Robin Hood, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Magic in the Moonlight, The Theory of Everything dan Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.

Simon McBurney lahir di Cambridge, Inggris. Ayahnya, Charles McBurney, adalah seorang arkeolog dan akademisi Amerika Serikat. Charles McBurney adalah cucu ahli bedah Amerika Serikat Charles McBurney (yang ditandai dengan menggambarkan tanda medis poin McBurney). Ibunya, Anne Francis Edmondstone (née Charles), adalah seorang sekretaris dan merupakan keturunan Inggris, Skotlandia dan Irlandia. Orang tuanya adalah sepupu jauh yang bertemu selama Perang Dunia II. Ia menempuh pendidikan di Peterhouse, Cambridge, jurusan sastra Inggris dan lulus pada tahun 1980. Setelah ayahnya meninggal, ia pindah ke Paris dan mengambil bidang teater di Lecoq International School of Theatre.

Ia kemudian tinggal di London bersama istrinya, pianis konser Cassie Yukawa, dan memiliki tiga anak. Dalam Penghargaan Tahun Baru 2005, ia mendapatkan gelar OBE atas dedikasinya terhadap drama. Ia menjadi Duta Besar untuk Kelangsungan Hidup Internasional, gerakan global untuk hak-hak masyarakat adat.
