Robert Knox (8 Februari 1641 – 19 Juni 1720) adalah seorang kapten laut Inggris dalam pelayanan Perusahaan Hindia Timur Britania. Ia adalah putra dari kapten laut lainnya, yang juga dipanggil Robert Knox.
Lahir di Tower Hill di London, Knox muda menjalani sebagian besar masa kanak-kanaknya di Surrey
