Pertempuran Hochkirch berlangsung pada tanggal 14 Oktober 1758 selama Perang Schlesien Ketiga (bagian dari Perang Tujuh Tahun). Setelah melakukan manuver selama beberapa minggu untuk mencari posisi yang pas, pasukan Austria yang terdiri dari 80.000 prajurit dan dipimpin oleh Feldzeugmeister Leopold Josef Graf Daun berhasil mengejutkan pasukan Prusia yang berjumlah 30.000–36.000 prajurit yang dipimpin oleh Friedrich II dari Prusia. Pasukan Austria berhasil membuat kewalahan pasukan Prusia dan memaksa mereka mundur.
