Perjalanan Laut Eritrea

Periplus dari Laut Eritrea atau Periplus dari Laut Merah (bahasa Yunani: Περίπλους τῆς Ἐρυθράς Θαλάσσης, bahasa Latin: Periplus Maris Erythraei) adalah sebuah periplus Yunani-Romawi, yang ditulis dalam bahasa Yunani, yang menjelaskan navigasi dan keperluan dagang dari pelabuhan-pelabuhan Mesir Romawi seperti Berenice di sepanjang pesisir Laut Merah, dan yang lainnya di sepanjang Afrika Timur Laut dan Sindh dan barat daya India. Teks tersebut diyakini dibuat antara abad ke-1 sampai ke-3 Masehi, namun pertengahan abad ke-1 adalah yang paling banyak diterima pada masa sekarang. Meskipun pengarangnya tidak diketahui, karya tersebut secara jelas merupakan penjelasan tangan pertama buatan seseorang yang familiar dengan kawasan tersebut dan hampir khas dalam menyediakan tanda-tanda akurat dalam apa yang dunia Eropa kuno ketahui tentang wilayah-wilayah di sekitaran Samudra Hindia.
