Perang Suci Ketiga (356–346 SM) terjadi antara pasukan Liga Amfiktionik dari Delphi, utamanya diwakili oleh Thebes, dan kemudian oleh Philip II dari Makedonia, dan Phocis. Perang tersebut disebabkan oleh denda besar yang dikenakan pada 357 SM di Phocis oleh Liga Amfiktionik (waktu itu didominasi oleh Thebes), untuk tawaran menanami tanah keramat; menolak untuk membayar, Phocia kemudian merebut Kuil Apollo di Delphi, dan memakai perbendaharaan yang ada untuk menandai pasukan besar.
