Menyakiti diri (bahasa Inggris: self-harm) diartikan sebagai tindakan melukai langsung lapisan tubuh, yang dilakukan tanpa tujuan bunuh diri. Istilah tersebut dipakai dalam sastra terkini dalam upaya mendapatkan istilah yang lebih netral. Sastra lama, khususnya sebelum kemunculan Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), hampir secara khusus disebut sebagai mutilasi diri.
