Paul James "Mackenzie" Crook (lahir 29 September 1971) adalah pemeran, penulis, sutradara, dan pelawak tunggal berkebangsaan Inggris. Crook lahir di Maidstone, Kent dan tumbuh besar di Dartford, Kent. Ayahnya, Michael Crook, bekerja di maskapai British Airways, dan ibunya, Sheila, adalah direktur rumah sakit. Dia memiliki dua saudara perempuan. Crook menikah dengan Lindsay. Mereka menikah pada April 2001 dan dikaruniai seorang putra, Jude Michael yang lahir 17 Januari 2003 dan puteri, Scout Elizabeth yang lahir 24 Desember 2007. Sebagai seorang anak, dia pernah menjalani kursus terapi hormon selama tiga tahun yang disebabkan oleh keterlambatan perkembangan. Di musim panas, dia menghabiskan waktu di perkebunan tembakau milik pamannya di Zimbabwe, yang akhirnya menumbuhkan kecintaannya terhadap seni lukis.
