Coy Luther Perry III (11 Oktober 1966 – 4 Maret 2019). Aktor asal Amerika Serikat ini lebih akrab disapa dan dikenal sebagai Luke Perry. Dia terkenal karena perannya sebagai Dylan McKay pada serial TV Beverly Hills 90210 dari tahun 1990 hingga 1995, dan lagi dari tahun 1998 hingga 2000. Kehidupan Awal sunting
Perry lahir di Mansfield, Ohio dan dibesarkan di Fredericktown, Ohio. Di sana, ia adalah maskot sekolah, Fredericktown High School, Freddie. Ibunya, Ann Bennett, adalah seorang ibu rumah tangga dan ayahnya, Coy Luther Perry, Jr., adalah seorang buruh pabrik baja. Perry suka pulang setiap tahun untuk Fredericktown Tomato Show, pameran jalanan tahunan.
Perry pindah ke Los Angeles sesaat setelah sekolah menengah untuk akting karena ia tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk melakukannya di Ohio. Dia bekerja sebagai paver dan tinggal di berbagai kota termasuk Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Downey dan Paramount.
Kehidupan Pribadi sunting
Perry menikah dengan Rachel Minnie Sharp dari tahun 1993 hingga 2003. Pasangan ini berbagi hak asuh bersama dua anak mereka, Jack (lahir 15 Juni 1997) dan Sophie (lahir 7 Juni 2000).
Perry menjadi advokat untuk pengujian untuk kanker usus besar setelah menjalani kolonoskopi pada tahun 2015 yang mengungkapkan pertumbuhan prakanker.
