Karier sunting
Lee mempelajari seni teater di Institut Kesenian Seoul dan belajar balet selama enam bulan.
Ia melakukan debut aktingnya di film A Good Lawyer's Wife pada tahun 2003 dan sejak itu ia membintangi beberapa peran di layar lebar seperti The Aggressives (2005), Riverbank Legends (2006), Humming (2008), Beautiful (2008), dan Barbie (2011). Ia juga muncul di layar kecil, terutama di Conspiracy in the Court (KBS, 2007), Smile, You (SBS, 2010), Gloria (MBC, 2010), dan Take Care of Us, Captain (SBS, 2012).
Kehidupan pribadi sunting
Lee menikahi aktris Jeon Hye-jin yang turut juga berperan di dalam serial Smile, You pada tanggal 11 Maret 2011. Putri mereka lahir pada tanggal 30 Juli 2011.
