Koloni Lagos adalah jajahan Britania yang berpusat di pelabuhan Lagos di kawasan Nigeria selatan. Lagos diambil alih oleh Britania pada tanggal 6 Agustus 1861 setelah Komandan Beddingfield dari kapal HMS Prometheus bersama dengan Konsul Britania William McCoskry melayangkan ancaman kepada penduduk asli. Oba Dosunmu dari Lagos (dieja "Docemo" dalam dokumen Britania) melawan upaya pencaplokan oleh Britania selama sebelas hari, tetapi pada akhirnya menyerah dan menandatangani Perjanjian Penyerahan Lagos. Lagos dinyatakan sebagai koloni pada tanggal 5 Maret 1862. Pada tahun 1872, Lagos telah menjadi pusat perdagangan dengan jumlah penduduk yang melebihi 60.000 jiwa.

Setelah berlangsungnya perang panjang melawan negara-negara Yoruba, koloni ini mendirikan sebuah protektorat di kawasan Yorubaland dari tahun 1890 hingga 1897. Koloni dan protektorat ini menjadi wilayah Nigeria Selatan pada Februari 1906 dan Lagos menjadi ibu kota Protektorat Nigeria pada Januari 1914. Semenjak itu, Lagos berkembang menjadi kota terbesar di Afrika Barat dengan perkiraan jumlah penduduk sebesar 9.000.000 jiwa pada tahun 2011.
