Karier sunting
Kim Soo-ro mempelajari Teater di Seoul Institute of the Arts dan Universitas Dongguk, kemudian bergabung dengan Mokwha Repertory Company. Pada tahun 1993, ia membuat debut sinematiknya dengan peran minor dalam Two Cops, dan menjadi dikenal karena mencuri perhatian sebagai aktor pendukung, khususnya dalam komedi seperti The Foul King, Hi! Dharma!, Fun Movie dan S Diary.
Dengan Vampire Cop Ricky pada tahun 2006, Kim mulai tampil dalam peran utama, dan hal ini diikuti dengan perannya dalam film A Bold Family, Our School's E.T., Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp, The Quiz Show Scandal, Romantic Heaven, dan Ghost Sweepers. Ia juga tampil dalam serial televisi Master of Study dan A Gentleman's Dignity.
Pada tahun 2009, adalah The Lower Depths, sebuah pertunjukan oleh Maxim Gorky dianggap sebagai dari karya-karya paling penting dari Rusia Realisme Sosialis, yang menarik Kim kembali ke teater.
