Ḥaydar bin Kāwūs (Arab: حيدر بن كاوس), yang lebih dikenal dengan gelar herediternya al-Afshīn (الأفشين), adalah seorang jenderal senior keturunan Iran di bawah kekuasaan para khalifah Abbasiyah dan pangeran vasal Oshrusana. Ia memainkan peran utama dalam kampanye-kampanye Khalifah al-Mu'tasim
