Kekaisaran Nikea

Kekaisaran Nikea adalah negara terbesar di antara tiga negara penerus Kekaisaran Romawi Timur. Negeri ini didirikan oleh para aristokrat yang melarikan diri dari Konstantinopel setelah kota tersebut direbut oleh Tentara Salib selama Perang Salib Keempat. Kekaisaran Nikea didirikan oleh keluarga Laskaris dan berdiri dari tahun 1204 hingga 1261, saat Nikea berhasil merebut Konstantinopel dan mendirikan kembali Kekaisaran Romawi Timur.
