Kenaikan Adolf Hitler dimulai di Jerman pada September 1919 saat Hitler bergabung dengan partai politik yang dikenal sebagai Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – DAP (Partai Buruh Jerman). Namanya diubah pada 1920 menjadi Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – NSDAP (Partai Buruh Jerman Sosialis Nasional, umum dikenal sebagai Partai Nazi). Partai politik tersebut terbentuk dan berkembang pada era pasca-Perang Dunia I. Partai tersebut bersifat anti-Marxis dan menentang pemerintahan demokratis pasca-perang dari Republik Weimar dan Traktat Versailles; dan mendorong nasionalisme ekstrim dan Pan-Jermanisme serta anti-Semitisme. "Kenaikan" Hitler dapat dianggap berakhir pada Maret 1933, setelah Reichstag mengadopsi Undang-Undang Pengesahan 1933 pada bulan tersebut. Presiden Paul von Hindenburg mengangkat Hitler menjadi Kanselir pada 30 Januari 1933 setelah serangkaian pemilihan parlementer dan intrik-intrik di balik ruangan yang berkaitan.
