Kain (tokoh Alkitab)

Kain adalah tokoh Alkitab dalam Kitab Kejadian. Kain merupakan kakak laki-laki Habel, dan putra sulung Adam bersama Hawa, pasangan pertama dalam Alkitab. Kain adalah seorang petani yang mempersembahkan hasil panennya kepada Allah. Namun, Allah tidak senang dan lebih menyukai hasil persembahan Habel daripada persembahan miliknya. Karena cemburu, Kain membunuh saudaranya, yang karenanya ia dihukum oleh Allah dengan kutukan dan tanda Kain. Kain memiliki beberapa anak, diantaranya Henokh hingga Lamekh.
