Joseph Hill Whedon (/ˈhwiːdən/; lahir 23 Juni 1964) adalah seorang penulis naskah, sutradara, produser, penulis buku komik dan komponis asal Amerika. Ia adalah pendiri Mutant Enemy Productions dan salah satu pendiri Bellwether Pictures, dan dikenal sebagai pembuat beberapa serial televisi, yang meliputi Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), Angel (1999–2004), Firefly (2002), Dollhouse (2009–10), dan Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
