Hierarki Gereja Katolik terdiri dari para uskup, imam dan diaken. Dalam esensi eklesiologi dari istilah tersebut, "hierarki" artinya "tatanan suci" dari Gereja, Tubuh Kristus, sehingga menghormati keragaman hadiah dan pelayanan yang dibutuhkan untuk penyatuan sejati. (1 Cor 12)

Dalam pemakaian kanonikal dan umum, ini merujuk kepada orang-orang yang memegang otoritas dalam sebuah gereja Kristen.
