Awal kehidupan sunting
Reaser lahir di pinggiran Detroit Bloomfield Hills. Orangtuanya adalah Karen Davidson (née Weidman) dan John Reaser. Dia adalah anak tengah dari tiga bersaudara. Pada tahun 1995, ibunya menikah dengan pengusaha miliarder William Davidson.
Reaser bersekolah di Academy of the Sacred Heart di Bloomfield Hills dan Avondale High School di Auburn Hills di mana dia lulus pada tahun 1993. Setelah SMA, dia kuliah di Universitas Oakland selama satu tahun, kemudian kuliah di Drama Division Sekolah Juilliard (1995–1999, Grup 28), di mana dia lulus dengan gelar Bachelor of Fine Arts pada tahun 1999.
