Amṣar (Arab: أمصار), tunggal miṣr, adalah 'kota garisun' atau pemukiman yang didirikan oleh para prajurit Muslim di wilayah-wilayah yang ditaklukan, pada abad-abad pertama Islam. Amshar pertama dibuat di bawah Khalifah Umar bin Khattab pada masa pemerintahannya dari 634-644 M.
